About SCA | Coaches

At SCA, our coaches ensure young swimmers have a positive and enjoyable experience while achieving their goals. They prioritize building self-esteem and improving technique, instilling passion, and providing guidance for self-improvement. The focus is on fun and achieving personal bests.

Core Coaching Objectives:

Positive experience: For younger age groups, this is about making practices and swim meets a fun and exciting. As swimmers mature, the focus shifts to include goal achievement in an encouraging, constructive environment.

Building self-esteem: Our coaches aim to help swimmers develop a sense of pride in themselves and their efforts. Individual self-improvement is always given priority over winning.

Improving technique: SCA’s goal is to help all swimmers improve their level of swimming proficiency.

Positive motivation: We find a way to help every swimmer want to improve, instilling passion and providing guidance.

Excellence in training: Individual swimmers will decide how much of the program they wish to take advantage of, but the program will be based maximizing the competitive potential of all SCA swimmers.
